Remove permalink from post title in WordPress Twenty Eleven

TwentyEleven displays the title in lots of different places. However, there may be certain cases where you do not want your post title to include a hyperlink. To remove the permalink from post titles, you will need to search the files beginning with code like this:

and change that to this:


Check all of the php files with names starting ‘content’. For example: content-aside.php, content-single.php, etc.

Create a bootable copy of Mountain Lion

Create a bootable copy of Mountain Lion or perform a clean install. Before installing Mountain Lion, go to your applications folder and look for “Install OS X Mountain Lion”, save this application to a disc or thumbdrive.

Produce Big, Bold, Responsive Headlines

Slabtext – A jQuery Plugin For Producing Big, Bold & Responsive Headlines

This script splits headlines into rows before resizing each row to fill the available horizontal space. The ideal number of characters to set on each row is calculated by dividing the available width by the CSS font-size – the script then uses this ideal character count to split the headline into word combinations that are displayed as separate rows of text.

Custom URL’s in Launch Center Pro

One of the most used apps on my iPhone is Launch Center Pro by App Cubby. I originally purchased this app to increase productivity with adding tasks in OmniFocus. One of the most useful features I’ve discovered is the custom URL option in the Action Composer.
